	I'm kinda' disappointed that they forgot about this little detail. Solid Snake is blonde, just like Liquid, but in The Twin Snake's Briefing feature, Snake's hair is already dark. [ Larger Image Link ] Anyway, here's something that'll prove that he's really supposed to be blonde. Campbell said that the only difference betweed Solid Snake and Liquid is their skintone. 	Wow.. interesting.. I've always thought he was a brunette.. What about his eyebrows though? Anyways didnt Solid Snake had to cut his mullet so that the people wont confused him as Liquid.. I remember reading that somewhere. Ugh with the mullet. And to think that the current timeline for TS and SoL takes place passed year 2000. I say Solid Snake should get a buzz cut next time or something.

	Ever heard of hair dye its a possibility, but then again it might just be the lighting in the breifing room that makes his hair look blonde on the video. (Ive got dark brown hair but under lights it goes lighter = browny blonde) ------------------- [Sign my G.Book]

	Well one thing i gotta say. If Solid Snake is really blonde then he must have likened it dyed hair.. he kept in Sons of Liberty didnt he? Heck he grew a mullet too.. lol..

However, Solid and Liquid Snake obviously both have very different accents, so that is one variation between the two brothers that Colonel Cambell never mentioned. So, perhaps the topic of their hair colors was simply just never brought up. Also, maybe blond hair was a dominant gene in their "family". Anyway, about genes and hair, I think I heard this from my high school teacher once, though I'm not sure, but darker colored hair is supposedly caused by strong genes, or something along those lines. 	Solid got all the domonit genes Liquid got the recesseive snke most liky has brown hair cuz it is a domonit gene along with brown eyes and stuff.Liquid has blonde hair and blue eyes cuz they r recessive i learned the sstuff in middle school 8th grade science (i had a hot teacher i payed attion hehehe)but that is how it would work if Solid got the domonit and Liquid got the recessive (the three posts above mine moderators fighting ) ------------------- We all live.We all die.Qustion is when will ur number be up.

	Dude, you are so clueless. Finish the game and wait until the credits are done. Anyway, a lot of things really don't make sense in the series. As for Snake's hair, in the previous Metal Gear games, his hair was actually dark, yet it's quite obvious that Kojima made him blonde in the beginning of MGS for the sake of having similar hair to Liquid. The script also states that the only physical difference between both Snakes was their skin tone. I guess it would have made much more sense if they just made Liquid have dark hair. 	Woah, i'm really confused. So you're saying solid snake is blond in the first MGS? But then you're saying a blond solid snake wouldn't be right? I for one never thought he had blond hair in MGS1 and still don't. It definitely has to do with genes (or at least that's the most logical since this game is very in depth). All i can say is that the hair color hasn't change from MGS1 to MGSTTS... I always thought he had brown hair. [edit]Oh... or do you mean the very first MG (not Metal Gear Soild... same series but you must differentiate for fear of confusion)? Well i just looked in a magazine with pics of the first and second Metal gear Games that came out and it's clear that solid snake has brown hair guys.

	Ok dude ur going a little to deep into this, its probably been done for a reason, either Solid changed his hair colour or Liquid changed his (most probably liquid changed his as he thought he was the weaker one and didnt want to look like Solid, either way its probably been done for a reason). If it bothers u that much write to Kojima and if hes real nice he may make another prequel with a story twist about their hair colour. ------------------- [Sign my G.Book]

Solid Snake being tortured while Ocelot/Liquid tells him the big shocker that will definitely revolutionize MGS. Ocelot : you know yourr blonde? your really blonde Solid Snake : what?! Anyways there are alot of sudden changes in games, movies that the audience just expect to ignore. Just let this one passed because I'm pretty sure, Solid Snake is now really intended to have dark hair. if you look at all the conceptional drawings, I think the mission brief from the original MGS wasnt really released. Just mostly what he looks like from Shadow Moses.

	Hey im not knocking the fact u pointed it out, im just saying it could be summit as simple as lighting, the video is black/white so he could have brown hair just with the intense light hitting his hair and reflecting making it look blonde, in all the original art work for MGS (psone version) his hair was brown, in all the conceptual art for it SOLIDS hair was also brown, i honestly think its just supposed to be the reflections and the above lights. 	You HAVE to pay attention to the plot. Liquid says that Big Boss's genes were grown into "test tube babies" which were Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and Solidus Snake.Snake was made with all of Bigg Boss's dominant genes and Liquid got the recessive genes.Snake has BROWN hair because it is caused by a DOMINANT gene. BLONDE hair is recessive, that's why Liquid has it. I can't tell you much about Solidus because I don't have Sons of Liberty or Substance. I do know however that he has whit hair so I think he has a mixture of dominant/recessive genes.[/color]
