And in Twin Snakes, i guess they forgot that little detail of Snake being blonde.

There is the possibility that konami havent/didnt forget about that little detail but instead decided to change it for the remake, Not sure how many of u in here have played the original Resident Evil & the cube REmake but little details where changed for the REmake, a better example would be RESI ZERO it changed alot of details and things that didnt quite fit in with the the first game, like when rebecca finds the mansion at the end of RESI 0 its morning but when she gets there in RESI its the middle of the night on the same day (or summit like that i cant remember exactly now its been a while since i played the games and went into the forums) but a nmber of things like that where changed or didnt quite fit within the storyline.
All im trying to say is, if snake eater is a prequel and we are big boss, konami may have altered little details to coincide with the new game better. (All game franchises have plot holes) Just a thought though.

But if snake had blonde hair in the briefing then he would have had to dye his hair brown on the submarine...how many submarines do you know where they happen to have brown hair dye? Plus in MGS the colonel is always on about how they are pushed for time. Do you really think they would give snake enough time to dye his hair anyway?

Dude, I don't think you guys are looking at this the right way. IT can't be because One or the other has different genes, they are both clones of the same person, their DNA is exactly the same. I read somewhere that Liquid was captured and held prisoner in the Middle East.
Down there there is a lot of sun, when you stay in the sun too long your hair lightens and your skin darkens. It's possible he was held prisoner so long his hair permanently lightened, and his skin permanently darkened. As for Snake's blond hair in the Briefing file for MGS1, his hair is probably dark near his scalp, but after so much length, his hair gets lighter

Well blond/e is a recessive gene so are blue eyes. It has to do with the chromesomes and the way they link up if i remember correctly. Certain combinations will create different colours. But when when a recessive gene comes up against a dominant gene. For instance if blonde came against brown hair tjhe brown is dominant and would override the blonde gene. I am confusing myself here.

maybe kojima just put that in to make him look older. they were trying to creat the impression that he was retired after all. oh well, the world may never know.

You guys better get used to events contradicting other things. Hideo already said there will be things in MGS3 that will not be fully correct with the other games

Also, MG 2: Snake's Revenge was only released in America and not done by Hideo, so do not believe anything in that game. It is not a "true" mgs game. Also, It was the Solid Snake in the 1st MG, that was him after the events in Grenada.

u mean some other person made a mg game? did it do bad?, i never played mg till i played the demo of mgs for psx

Yeah. Snake's Revenge was not made by Hideo, and it has nothing to do with the series. It sucked and is a disgrace. It does not count as part as the MG series at all

dont worry, i wont. i've never even heard of snakes revenge. now i feel all gay inside. on the topic of hair color, Snake probably was blonde. now i dont think hes as kool as i used to think.
