Solid Snake's Hair Color |
|
I'm kinda' disappointed that they forgot about this little detail.
Solid Snake is blonde, just like Liquid, but in The Twin Snake's Briefing feature, Snake's hair is already dark. ![]() [ Larger Image Link ] Anyway, here's something that'll prove that he's really supposed to be blonde. Campbell said that the only difference betweed Solid Snake and Liquid is their skintone. He didn't mention anything about the hair. He also used that same line in the original MGS. That's what I meant when I said that they forgot about it.

re: Solid Snake's Hair Color |
quote bosoxpete8That's coz they gave Liquid away to Britain. Anyway, about genes and hair, I think I heard this from my high school teacher once, though I'm not sure, but darker colored hair is supposedly caused by strong genes, or something along those lines. Besides, in the original MGS, no matter what anyone says about lighting and stuff, it was quite obvious that Snake didn't have dark hair. This message was edited by Saint Jaycee on Apr 02 2004.

Dude, you are so clueless.
Finish the game and wait until the credits are done. Anyway, a lot of things really don't make sense in the series. As for Snake's hair, in the previous Metal Gear games, his hair was actually dark, yet it's quite obvious that Kojima made him blonde in the beginning of MGS for the sake of having similar hair to Liquid. The script also states that the only physical difference between both Snakes was their skin tone. I guess it would have made much more sense if they just made Liquid have dark hair. But then again, I don't think it would have worked out... Besides, a blonde Solid Snake just wouldn't be right. [color=#666666]This message was edited by Saint Jaycee on Apr 03 2004.

Fanboys always make an issue out of continuity.
And when you've been talking about a game for over six years and still never get tired of it, it's quite understandable to try to find new topics to discuss.

It's just a continuity error. It's that simple. Arguing about it is useless.
As great as the MGS story as a whole is, it still has its share of holes and inconsistencies.
