Stealth vs. Bandana |
|
Okay, how can you get Stealth Camoflauge? People have been talking about and saying that they blew threw the game quick with it. Other people said that when you have the badanna, it makes the game easier. But how? And how do you get it? I don't have either of the two items, so I'm a bit confused.

Finish the game.
For each 2 ending gets you each those items. I'm not gonna spoil it for you but obviously you about the Otacon and Meryl Ending right? So to make it spoiler free, in order for you get one of each endings: Otacon Ending = submit to the torture. Meryl Ending = do not submit to the torture scene. Otacon Ending gets you stealth camouflage Meryl Ending gets you the bandana.

you don't have to necessarily do it like the old way. you'll have unlock all the special item as long as you complete the game twice. for example if you complete the game on your first run through and you didn't submit you'll get the bandana and then on your second run you also decided to not submit again you'll still get the stealth camo. i know this way also works cuz when i first got this game i wanted to get the costume change with meryl so i did not submit on my second run and got the stealth camo anyways.

What do you guys mean by "Do not submit"? Do you mean don't give up, and by submit means to surrender?

you got capture didn't you and you were torture right? if you submit/give up to that torture the ending will be with octacon. if you don't it'll be with meryl.

I went for the Bandana first, because not only does it give you unlimited ammo, you also get to see...
...Meryl survive. That always rocks.
I got stealth my third time through, but the game wasn't that much easier to me. You can usually pop a guard with the m9 before he sees you.

On the torture scene, it gives you an option of button to press.
Keep pressing A will resist and will keep you alive. If you press start + A button will cause you to submit or surrender. Keeping in mind that when you dont submit, you will go through the process twice or if not several times until you figure a way out of the "room" But like what the other guy said, if you can get both at the same time by not submitting and surrendering, then do it. I myself never knew that nor never tried it.

GunX, you have to submit to get the stealth camo. I beat the game two times, not submitting, and I got the bandana two times.

well that's weird then cuz on my second time through when i decided to not submit again i ended up with the stealth camo. i'm sure of this cuz on my third time through i was playing with the bandana and stealth camo and in the demo theater i didn't even have octacon's ending.

Yeah outta anything of those, I'd have to say go for the stealth, that will help you get back to the torture faster to get the bandana, plus with the Stealth you can take some wicked pictures

I heard something about a otacon and meryl outfit. It said i had to beat the game twice, ethier giving in to the torture scene or resisting it. i had to pick one and resist it both times. I was wondering if it was possible to get both outfits by beating it four times, two of each ending. I dont actually have a gamecube but im looking into buying one, mostly for this game.

How do you use either if you've gotten them? I got the bandana the first time I beat it, so how do you use it?

You didn't answer the question though. How do you use either of them? How do you equip them? I beat it, do I play on that save? What's the deal?
