Because except for Prince of Persia and sports games, most multi platform games arent very good. Plus, all the mgs games that were for PS2 got the most sales.

Metal Gear Solid started on PS1, Twin snakes is a remake of that game with the same graphics and gameplay of MGS2: Sons of Liberty. If you want to go REALLY back then in the 80's Metal Gear acame out on the MSX in japan only and then on nintendo in america. When it came here in 3d(MGS) thats when it became a hit. So as you can see most fans have been loyal since the begging on nintendo, but the majority of the fans became loyal when it first came out for PS1.

Well they did make substance for MGS2 on the xbox, didnt get as much sales as the ps2 version however. For me it doesnt really matter since I have a gamecube, ps2 and xbox, so for me it doesnt matter, but I must say that so far the best Metal Gear wpuld be Metal Gear 3:Snake Eater, a prequel set back to the 60's where you play as Big Boss. Its REALLY good.

Unfortunatly no, there isnt a radar and theres no laser point for the gun either, you instead use camofluage to stay hidden and you use primitve radars that shouw if if something is near or not but not the area or his field of vision. Its still good though despite the lack of technology that your used to in the previous mgs games.

Well at least you still have a somewhat of a radar. I don't know if I can handle no lazer pointer though. I would have to use my sniper rifle alot.

The guns have new kind of sight sistem, the guns have donts on them.
