Grim Reaper

I have had the maid get eaten by one of the mutant plants before and the maid becomes a ghost, but she still does her work, so I would sometimes continue the game

Howver when one the Sims would get eaten by one of the mutant plants I always would quit without saving since I was assuming that the Sim would be a ghost.

I now understand that one can plead with the Grim Reaper for the Sim's life, however I don't know how one goes about doing this.

Would someone explain the process of pleading with the Grim Reaper and also where does one find the Grim Reaper?

re: Grim Reaper

Whenever somebody dies, he shows up. Pleading is basically rock paper scisors. Sometimes they turn back to normal, sometimes they turn into a ghost.

I am going to try pleading with the Grim Reaper the next time one of the other Sims in the game gets eaten by one of the Giant Mutant Plants.

No, you can't.
Mutant plant death is an instant death, s/he immediately turn into a tombstone after the plant finish him/her, without triggering Mr. Grimmy Reaper to appear.
