Does anyone know anything about this game? I hear it could be better than Earth & Beyond if the keep the Universe evolving in a positive way.

Well, I don't know much. But, I do know that there are no "levels" in EVE Online, like there is in E&B.
In EVE you don't gain levels, but you gain credits/money/whatever they call it to buy new equipment/skills which make your vessel/character better. This is what I really find interesting. It's kind of cool how they did this... There is Player vs. Player in EVE, so they had to figure out a way to kill you but not kill you at the same time. The way they did it was you're ejected from your vessel just before it is destroyed. But, they can target that ejection pod and destroy it. Thus, you are DEAD. Although, you have a clone which is awakened immediately after your death. You can buy better clones so you don't lose as many skills if you use the provided one. Very nice. If you have any specific questions I may be able to answer them. But, mind you, I do not have the game. I have a really pathetic computer. But, I've read a bit about EVE. So, the better place to ask would be the EVE Online forums at... EVE ONLINE Oh, yes, Earth and Beyond's bad reputation is quite sad. Again I haven't played but, from what I hear it all went down hill after the "nerfing" began... Ouch, bad way for a game to go... It had so much potential. But, the fact is, now because of this "nerfing" mess I am not even considering buying the game anymore. Anyway, have a good one and feel free to ask any questions... I'll try to answer them. ------------------- "Standing here, the old man said to me, 'Long before these crowded streets here stood my dreaming tree.'
