Is Eidos planning any sequels to Legacy of Kain as I don’t know if this is true but apparently the cast have left and Eidos is going to be bought? I don’t know who is planning a take over bid but without the original cast can there be a sequel or not?

I just want to say how depressing this is if its true as Legacy of Kain is one of my favourite games and the script is just magnificent. (just one of the reasons why I got into acting)

I can see a lot of potential in the next game like the return of the hilden and perhaps kain will find a way to draw out Raziel from the blade. So to conclude dose anyone know of any Vampire games like this that will be coming out soon or any that have been released in the last 4 years?

Nobody really knows for sure. Maybe in say seven years time they'll make a sequel. But I agree with you, they shouldn't a destroy a perfectly good series.The script was what amde the game interesting and I should know, I did theatre for a year or two.
Anywho, let's hope they don't decided to scrap LoK.

I just hope that, if they make a sequel, it's not under par. For me, well, I thought Defiance was good closure. But of course I would sell my soul for another Legacy of Kain game; one that does the series the justice it deserves. *nods*

Think this last game was a good closure although I miss grabbing the weapons from enemy soldiers... where have the massive impalations and decapitations have gone to I want a recapitulation on that

I agree, as cool as the Reaver is, using it all the time wasn't as fun as impaling enemies with the occasional staff here and there. XD

Storyline-wise, we've ended up with a nice little round-about time scheme... essential in time travelling games. Time travel makes my brain hurt.

The weapons in SR1 got me hooked on the whole series, It was simply EXCELLENT! Anyways, I wish they would bring out a new sequel, Also I'd like to be able to play all the bits missed out in the LoK series. Like the Pre-Fallen Raziel, I wanna play as him!

Anyway, If there was a sequel, The Idea of Hylden coming back and Kain Drawing Raziel out of the reaver is a massively awesome option for a sequel. Bringing all the vampires back to life and making it an action-war game on a full-scale war of Vampires and Hylden. Cool idea...


Confuzzled, though. Should it be a PS2 game where you control one character going around beating the living daylights out of people? Or should it be a Real-Time game on the P.C where you control legions of Vampires??? The possibilities are endless...

Legacy of Kain, The movie. The script is the BEST I've ever seen and if there was a movie there would be a lot of people watching it! Only thing is, a hell of a lot of animation. I mean, They can't dress people up. Raziel is just too thin... And the Elder God? Kain?... *tut tut tut* definately a CG movie. Anyway, I've typed too much. HAvin' some hot chocolate...

there should definatly be a film of maby legacy of kain warhammer would be cool but it would be a bit triky with the elder god coz of poor tony jay but warhammer should be made

I hate when companies leave a series incomplete, and man is LoK incomplete. With the Elder god still alive, and the Pillars, the only things keeping Nosgoth balanced, not to mention keeping the Hylden sealed away, fallen, what's gonna happen to Nosgoth? They've still got a hell of holes to fill up!
But alas, the years make it apparent that it is useless to hope. Oh well...

I hope they make a new one to. Manily because it was like reading a really good novel or a movie.To me it is still one of the best written story in a game ever. Plot twist every were. Allways something new around the corner. The first time I played Soul Reaver 2 and found out about Raziel soul it shocked the crap out of me. And I hope one day they make another one day in the future.

Well they were suppose to bring a new game out called LoK Apocalypse, but wiether or not they do is up to them... hopefully they do as there are ALOT of un resolved thing to be settled, such as Janos being controled by Hass'A'Geek, although that could be what happened in BO2 but i dought that very much because it wasnt completely explained how he got there in the first place.

Also i dont think there is a way to get Raziel from the blade because that would screw up the time line big time as everything happened as it was suppose to unless Kain was trying to change everything which would mean that Raziel would not get the parasite part of him from the blade. Either that or Kain would not have killed Raziel and kepthim as the Vampire him who would haeve mutataed into a gaint monster just like his breathern. And so meaning that none of the other LoK games would have happened... but that means because of BO 2 it didnt take souls it took blood.. meaning Raziel wasnt in the blade... which means that that... should make another one.. man im confused my heads sore

As for the movie there was suppose to be a movie made but i dont think they should do it with people because they would have to cut it down and miss important plot bits seeing as everything is an important plot bit.. they would have to make it like they made FF Advent Children that way that could get everything in...
