You have to have beaten the game. if you have, go downstairs in the Place with the water and PreGym. go downstairs in the Poke Center.

Well that's part of it.... you need an adapter that connects the Gameboy to the Gamecube, which allows you to trade I think this is the divice

I think you all are mistaken. At certain Pokemon Centers, you can hook up a Link Cable and transfer you're non-Shadow Pokemon to your GBA.
