Nothing. The game designers probably put it in with the idea of making it part of quest but either forgot about it or ran out of room.

I have been wondering what the Pool of Forgetfullness does myself, and I just got an idea. What if it used to be named something else, but they forgot to make the quest for it, then on the last day before shipping, one of the developers remembered it, then quickly renamed it what it is.

Necroposting is when you bring back a dead thread and don't contribute anything that could promote further discussion. In this case, Reaper69 offered a theory on the Pool of Forgetfulness. ------------------- "The next year the Church of the Literal Servants declared vowels blasphemous. t m d th ngs d ff c lt." - Alyssa Chamberlin

Sorry to irritate you, Eve, but I hate resurrected threads. If there was something worthwhile to add to a thread, someone would have posted such long ago. If there's a new idea, it would probably be in its own thread, as the old thread would have been forgotten. I'm sure you have your pet peeves. I do too, and necroing is one of them. (People clipping their fingernails in public is another one.) But I don't see how I can be accused of spamming or flaming. Flaming would imply I'd made some sort of disparaging remarks about the one who resurrected the thread, which I have not. Spamming might be closer to it, but I'd think my post could be considered a short and simple (if capitalized for effect) announcement of personal opinion rather than a random mindless post one would normally refer to as 'spam'. You may also note that, while I showed my dislike of the fact the the thread was resurrected, I continued to further the discussion since it had been renewed. I think I'm well within my rights, according to the forum rules. Am I mistaken?
