One way stash spots |
|
I thought for sure I posted this tip/trick, but can't find it. In Seyda neen there are two good places for this. If you find the murderer of the tax collector in the second shack behind the trading post and kill him you can move into his house after selling his stuff. There is also a smuggler's cave near the Silt strider. I created a spell I call 'brinks' and in my shack I marked the spot inside and then locked the door from the outside with brinks at lock level 1oo. I can do the same with the smuggler's den. Now I can stash several raids worth of goods in either and can still walk out the door from the inside without opening the 'lock' and noone can enter. ( I did notice some petty theivery, probably Nargoth, before I did this and none afterward). I found that 'Creeper' in Caldera will give me full price for most items so I can rack up literally thousands of pounds of booty and then remove my lock from the outside after marking the spot in front of my pawnbroker of choice to recall to. Being overencumbered doesn't affect my ability to recall there. Oh, be advised that some doors that have an actual lock already like cell doors will have your lock spell on both sides but cannot be unlocked from the inside at all without a lockpick so I had to reset one game completely after lockin myself in once. Happy hunting
