I like Dragonworld a lot better than story mode. You are able to be a lot more characters, and you can choose your own way of going through the story. With storymode, you always had to do what they wanted. It got boring doing the exact same thing over and over. The only thing good about it was the cutscenes, so Dragonworld could have used a few to break up the board game.

I guess I see your point. Dragonworld just doesn't feel like it fits DBZ to me. It just feels like an extremely long mini-game. I would have been satisfied if they included a normal "Story Mode" with the addition of Dragon World. Not just scrapping one for the other.

i think that dragonmode with story mode fmv's would be better as it would have the best of both worlds... but in my opinion it dragonworld...

I prefer story-mode for the lame fact that I loved the cut-scenes from Budokai 1.

I have to agree with Xenos, for example the cut scene where Goku transformed into a super saiyan in DBZ Budokai was cool.

the only problems i found with the FMV's was that they were in japanese... but the short character confrontations on budokai 2 were in english... so they were better... in my opinion...

I think they should of combine the 2 you know? That would be kinda of cool! I hope in the next one they do that or make something even better!

And Drew, that is exactly why they should have done the same with 2 to include the Buu saga. I just hope the GT version will include a thorough Story Mode to go with the Babi Saga.
