Is it as good as Quidditch Fans dream or a quick dollar making scheme. How does it compare to say ESPN NHL Hockey or NFL 2004 games in sports game play?
I want to get this game, scared to waste the money.

Oh I don’t get paid until tomorrow so I’m hoping to pick up a copy this weekend

It's a really fun game, but it's hard at some parts like the bludgers. Nintendo priced it as $40.00 which a good price as normal games are normally $50. It's fun though, I would recommend it.

How does the seeker and snitch work? It seems like that would be difficult to do 3d on a TV

Man I can’t seem to get enough of this game . . . I rented it but will definitely buy it . . . the xbox version is also $40 . . . at first you think this is really easy but then they add the beaters and combos and it gets tough real fast . . . Oh my god this is my second favorite game . . . you fly around scoring points with your chasers and as you go you’ll earn the chance to use a bludger and you send one off . . . then you control the bludger trying to knock off the opponent . . . then after a certain amount of time/scoring (not sure what triggers it) your seeker will spot the snitch and you’ll have built up a certain amount of “turbo” during the match and you follow the golden trail and grab the snitch . . .there are special team moves that are awesome . . . and the first time I played it we were cheering as is it was a football game on t.v. . .. Buy this game . . . you won’t be dissapointed

I just rented the game today and i have to agree with the post above, it is a very entertaining game, the first time i played it, i whent through the quidditch cup at hogwarts using the ravenclaw house. I wanted to start out different than just picking gryffindor. As you progress through and win the cup at hogwarts you will move onto the proffessional quidditch world cup. Thats all ill say for now, i dont want to completely ruin the element of the game for whoever reads this. Last note: My left thumb is numb, and that tells me how good this game is

I Still Have Not Got The Game But I Plan On Getting It For Christmas, I Love Harry Potter Games So I Hope I Will Like This.

If you love Harry Potter games then you should really love this . . . I don't own it yet but I will I've rented it twice

I have rented it as well, It was a lot of fun, Takes a while for it to get challenging though.
I always get a thrill beating Malfoy to the snitch with Potter.
Also the league play and management is very plain and basic, IE: can't do anything other than play your schedule, no team management. But then I have only completed 1 season to win the cup.

Yeah in the beginning it's a cake walk but still thrilling . . . you have to play on hte firebolt level to make it super hard
