I probably sound like a total idiot... but i'm stuck on the bridge jump over the cops in the first level. the skitching is absolutely no problem... but i either fall a few feet behind the cops and it fails me, or i fly uncontrollably into the water... is there something i'm doing wrong? please, please somebody help me out, it's driving me nuts.

Remember: The car is only there for getting speed. You have to release the ollie button as as you go on the center ramp of the bridge.

do i release it right as i hit the ramp, or in air? i tried it, and i'm still having the same problem..

Are you not making it passed the cops or are you landing to the way left or way right when you did what I said?

i'm not making it past the cops at all. i can get it going straight, but even when i release the button, i fall just short of the end, pretty much right on top of the cops or a few feet behind. it just fails me before i hit the ground.

Stay skitching on the car for a longer time. Do that with releasing the button on the ramp and another time releasing it in the air.

try doing tricks over the cops that may get you more height the rest of the missions are a breeze in nj
