re: battling/card techniques..

you will most likely need to balance out your deck and if your using a hero or darkside character that can't use tech the don't bother putting cards like foie or barta and if you want to get higher than a C then try hard not to get hit,get over 2 dice bonuses unless ur in a team get 1 instead and be quick. in freeplay use a character u don't use use default decks against ur best deck and don't let ur "dummy" as i call a practice dummy then go to a small map caelum A reccomended and destroy him (this works best in a team) and you should B,A or S's well i hope this helps

re: battling/card techniques..

there are no specific strategies, however, ill give you some tips

-In most decks, is a good idea to have 10 creatures/items (this excludes shield and mags in case of items) and more defenses than attack actions (no assist deck), this way, your cards will last longer on field

Try to theme your deck, for example, a Canane deck is both Machine and Flying, so a MC Attack and FY Attack is a deadly combo, also Earthquake will only damage your SC and not your creatures, while your op will recieve full damage

Be prepared and have decks both for 1on1 and for teams, you wont like being caught 1on1 with Protects do you?

if your deck is heavy, no matter how heavy, carry a bundle (at least 2 or 3) small creatures/items or at least that cost 3

Some good Items that are almost staples are

Swords: Kaladbolg
Guns: Mechgun/Ma60 Vise
Canes: Club of Zumiran/Wand, Storm Wand Indra

Natives: Gobooma, Hilde(inster second part here)
AB: Guil Shark, Pouilly
Dark: Merlan
Machine: ANY Sinow (except Blue unless you got 3 of them or its a Recon/Canane deck)

Offensive Actions: Split, XX Attack
Defensive Actions: Guard/Wall, Resist
Assist: Dice+1, Dice Fever, (insert name of card that boosts your deck archetype here)

if you find hard to progress, play free battle and pwn Reiz Creature=0 deck to lvl up, if you get her in 1-2 turns, you should get at least a B

hope this helps
