re: Best Armours.

I've been on the FFX board a few years ago too, I'm kind of absent there though. =/ Should probably go back.

And ghost, face it:L BMPL is just about the worst skill in the game to put on your armour. ANY other ability would be more useful.

Auto-Haste
Auto-Protect
BHPL
Ribbon

I always have at least one or more characters with auto-pheonix too. OH well, do what you like with your armors auto-potion is also a good option.

re: Best Armours.

It's not opinion on BMPL being useless. One MP cost gives you 999 spells, whilst BMPL gives you less (If you're using the same attacks).

Three Stars gives you infinite castings.

Half MP cost if you must...

Added to the fact you may have to sacrifice other stats just to raise MP makes it even more useless.

re: Best Armours.

Apparently you guys can't read to well.No disrespect but you must have missed the part where i havent sacrificed anything to get 99,999 HP or 9,999 MP.I had a friend use the codebreaker on that particular file.It gave me max HP and MP to begin with I just had to get BMPL and BHPL on armours to get. I have Excalibur with one MP cost so I know what I'm doing instead of being able to only cast it 999 times I can cast spells and everything else 9,999 times. And what is so unreliable about items is if you die after using them the affect they have on you goes away. For example say I have Rikku mix the items to get it where Every one can cast spells for 0 or 1 MP. If anyone dies that "buff" is taken from them so you have to recast it.

re: Best Armours.

You don't need Rikku to mix to get 0 MP cost. You just use a three stars.

Ok, this may sound rude, but I'm afraid it's true, and you're really starting to piss me off: You're a f!cking idiot. First off, the fact you cheated to get that *still* doesn't make BMPL a viable option, if anything it nulls your "opinion" on the matter.
Secondly, learn to f!cking read. You've been told numerous times of ways to get 0 MP cost and other methods that are better than BMPL, but you've ignored all of them.

re: Best Armours.

And like I said if a charachter dies with the 0 Mp cost effect on them when they are revived they no longer have it.
BMPL costs the same as 1 Mp limit. And the fact that I have a file that has cheats on it means nothing.I had a file before where i beat it without BHPL or BMPL or even ribbon. I did it through hardwork and determination.I said I have 2 files one where I beat the game the hard way and still have all celestial weapons.Dude Like i said before you have raging fury I heard you guys and I said I customized what I wanted. On another note it has proven most effective. So what does it matter?Jeez.. calm down I read everything you guys have wrote.I'm not some F'n idiot who just started playin this game. I have been playing it since about 05 so gimme a break. As long as the armor is effective what does it matter what I've customized it.The file with the cheats is so I can have a little fun now and again, and is also for the purpose of making movies if I can get a decent camera.

re: Best Armours.

*Sigh*
You're not getting it.
In any battle where 0 MP cost, BMPL, or 1MP cost would be needed, the best strategy involves NOT dying, so for starters, you were doing it wrong.

Secondly, the fact that you did a file w/o BHPL or Ribbon either doesn't really mean anything - Ribbon is useful in only a few battles, and any fight can be won just as easily without BHPL as it can with BHPL.

As for BMPL, it is *still* not effective.
You can throw a 3 stars, and have an armour with Auto Protect/Haste/Phoenix & Def+20% [An example of a viable armour] and if a character *does* die, you don't waste a turn at all - the PD is auto thrown, so you jsut throw a 3 stars.
With BMPL, you're taking up a slot that could otherwise be boosting you characters and making the battle easier when there are numerous alternatives.

And by the absolute blindness you've shown in your knowledge, don't get surprised if people take you to be someone who "just started playing this game" (Which no one has said), because you're damned well acting like it.

re: Best Armours.

Once again I come back to the point of opinions. And the main reason I keep throwing out the three stars idea is i see it as a waste.Say your in a really tough battle with say Nemesis and you arent using BHL. Every time a charachter dies is a lot worse than just using 30 stars compared to one everytime he kills a party member. My way I never have to worry about it.As before I know everyone has their own opinions but I happen to like the BMPL and it is effective as well so what does it matter to you?Wow 3 little sheild customized with BMPL and everybody starts trippin'

re: Best Armours.

If you're fighting Nemmy without BHPL, then odds are you'll kill Nemmy either without a character dying, or hours before running out of MP.

Ok, lets agree to this: BMPL is only useful when using non useful strategies.

Even then any other armour slot would be better off.

re: Best Armours.

1 mp cost without BMPL allows you to cast 999 spells without running out of mp. that is more than enough for one battle.

One lesson you will learn on this board ghost. Tyrant Wave and Luminous Mark are ALWAYS right no need to bother arguing with them. Just trust them
