Two addendums to that:

1) On the BHPL armour, you can change Auto Phoenix with Auto Protect. You need Regen.

2) Not all fights are easier w/ BHPL - some are more troublesome.

Ummmm Mcrilith I think your English Lesson can be considered Spam,and oh yeah I have Auron's Masamune or whichever his Celestial is and it comes with First Strike and guess what it can't do anything to stop Malboro from using bad breath.Because most of the time you do get ambushed and I get one hit in with first strike and that is at max stats!!!!! How can first strike stop him hmmmm? I have tried hastega and slowga haste on me and slow on him on to separate battles and trust me it will not stop him from using bad breath! I know he does it every time!!!!!! that is the only time I ever lost on my "broken" file was because of that Idiotic bad breath so I beleive that Muffins has a point about Ribbon!Or if you say so otherwise let me know how to keep him from using bad breath on an ambushed first strike hmmm? Oh yeah and about the "plot outlines in two sentences" were they run-on?

ghost: You have the first action. There are so many ways you could kill the Marlboro before it acts. If you can't, then use Provoke, it won't use Bad Breath at all.

Tyrant, either you didn't read part of his post or you missed one of his points completely: with Auron's Masamune and with Max Stats he can't kill the GM in one move. Either he thinks he has max stats and doesn't or is mixing weapons up.

We have been trying to get the FFX forum a mod. However, I'm sure with increased activity that they would appoint this forum a mod.

Secondly, Ghost, even if you don't want to kill the great marlboro with one hit you can just use that turn to flee.

Good thing I'm frequenting this FFX board as well as the GFAQs one then. There I don't do it to help people, it's more of a social board (), but here I feel like I can help (again).

Yeah, I pretty much just go around this board answering questions and helping out people when I can. It goes through spurts of activity and inactivity. It also depends on the time of day.

I've noticed more of the inactivity than the activity. I try to help out where I can, and due to being online as often as I can, I will probably be the first person to respond.

This place is just like the old forum in a lot of ways, except for the lack of trolls. Arguments are a given, but unless its over something that could be seen as important by one of the arguing parties, the people involved will stop arguing eventually... like we did.

Ribbon isn't necessary for Malboro Menace. Nice to have, but it's completely unnecessary to obtain before you defeat MM, one of the easier Creations.

Or just tank it, I normally do this (purely out of laziness) and Someone will wake up or snap out of confusion before long. Except my Auron with auto-haste he will get like several hits at him self and he normally dodges them all but he hits himself eventually.
