Grinding? I haven't stopped to grind yet I am drop-farming because I want to kill the Chocobo Eater, but it's not necessary. I want the keyspheres, and the free Chocobo Ride. You get more KS' for killing him than you do for knocking him off the cliff.

Yeah and 4 Lvl 1 Keyspheres. You get 6 for Overkilling him though. S&D + Fire Weapon should get me the overkill.

I'm gonna check what the minimum damage required for Overkill is. I'll be using Cheer*5 anyway, since it increase (and reduces) damage by 1/3 when used 5 times ^^

i would consider a lot of drop-farming "grinding",because you're fighting the same monsters over and over hoping to get what you want,without going anywhere. also,for those with the NA version(including me), they can't have extract abilities,so they'd have to grind up to delay attack if they want to use tidus to attack. tidus/wakka/auron have low mp,so you'd have to overtrain or grind for a lot of ethers for them to be able to attack a lot in boss fights. there's enough distance between save points for the mp to becom an issue with random battles in some places as well unless you grind to get it high enough/get enough ethers somehow. you can't buy ethers(unless this is another international difference?).

That's why Kimahri IS NEEDED unless you decide to be a cheap whore and use the ESG (PAL/Intl. only).

then we have different definitions for "grinding". my definition of it is anything that involves doing more or less the same thing over and over for a long time without going anywhere(which is tedious, and often boring).

I have the general consensus definition. You have it confused with farming.

I only use lulu to train!! So it has to be lulu

I got her almost Max Stat"ed" and with her Celestial Weapon but I'll have to say Lulu.
