OK i wanted to know about the so called Dark Aeons
and i heard they only appear in the pal/international version
is that true ??

Yes that's true...

the dark aeons are some of the most powerful enemies in the pal/ int versions of ffx. They are quite difficult even for people with high stats. You can access them after getting the airship

Locations
Valefor - Besaid
Ifrit - Near Home
Ixion - Thunder plains
Shiva - Macalania
Bahamut - Zanarkand
Yojimbo - Cavern of stolen fayth
Anima - Mt Gagazet
Magus sisters - mushroom rock road

Actually, you can access them before Gagazet. You just can't backtrack enough to fight most of them pre-Airship.

Shiva, Ixion and Yojimbo can be fought before Biran and Yenke (Good luck beating them then though; not even Zanmato will save your ass at that stage)

I KNEW you were going to correct me, i just knew it. But they are in fairness annoying to get to before the airship.

You can only access the three I mentioned at that point, and it's by merely walking a few screens. Hardly annoying...

I would find it annoying, because then you would have to walk back again, without no encounters that would annoy me.

Unless your stats are pretty much maxed, you won't pwn them at all, especially not first time you fight them and dont know their attacks and effects, they are more likely to OHKO you.

You used the notword "pwn" twice in the same sentence. I doubt your ability to beat them let alone overkill them.

Really, rath, you know as I do, you come to the point in this game where any boss is piss easy. The only dark aeon I have had that much trouble with was Dark Bahamut, the rest were pretty darn easy if you just use the good ol' strategy of quick hit and aeon meat shields, and some hyper mighty's every now and then. If this guy can 'pwn' nemesis then he won't really have that much trouble with the dark aeons.

I find it hard yo believe you've had more trouble with Dark Bahamut than you have with Dark Anima. Seriously?

Dark Anima can't inflict Full Break on the entire party with one hit... Bahamut can, hence he is - technically - harder.
