Technically, Keepa has the highest shot in the game.

Thank you Trio, err, GIR. Yeah, whoever started this thread:
LF: Tidus RF: Linna with Tackle slip 2. Centre: Vuroja and nobody else, but only scout him after you get the Airship, cause then the Kilika beasts have given him almost every ability. Defenders: Kulukan and Ropp, because Ropp is monster and Kulukan has almost every ability. Golakeeper: Nimrook. He only needs Grip Gloves and Super Goalie to become monster. Oh, yeah, since I don't know your preferences, you should know this: Al Bhed Psyches: Great statss, no abilities Kilika beasts: become beasts with all abilities. Aurochs: Only Tidus and letty are worth it really Ronso: Huge ATK and END stats, but average everywhere else. Goers are balanced Guado are speed. The players your team consists of should be based on your tastes.

Yeah, but trust me, it's WAY easier to just get Kilika Beasts if you want abilities.

I am also like the original poster, I am doing second replay of the game and just playing Bliztball to get Wakka's Ultimate weapon.
I've only managed to draw twice, (never won a game and cannot understand how). When my player has the ball and I am wide open I press the square button (in order to PASS) but then the opposition players appear and I have to 'Break/No Break', why is this ? Also what is the best strategy in terms of marking opposition players based on stats (e.g. att, eng, sht, pas) What is the best strategy for player positions. I usually place players with good SHT in front and good PAS mid-field. When setting marking should I just mark the best Shooters with many players so it is difficult for their STATs and less likly to score ? I heard you need to win 5 blizball games to get Wakka's Ultimate Weapon. Does this include Exhibition games ? ------------------- Game Save Backup tool http://www.gamesavebackup.com

To get Wakka's Ultimate Weapon you should win more than 50 matches.(If i remember right)
About the position's now.The players that you have in defence should have high ATTACK and BLOCK.The player that you have in the middle should have balanced stats. You know what i'm saying. And the players you have at the Attack posittion should have enough EDURANCE and SHOOT.But as you continue playing and leveling up you will find new players and ur stats will increase. So now Good Luck. And exp ur players in story too..

Hello everyone again. So i postponed playing Blitzball and waited untill i aquired the airship. My current team is...
LF: Tidus RF: Wakka Brother: Brother LD: Miyu Rd: Linna GL: Kyou reserves: Jassu & Botta That was just a rough guestimation of where people should go. Ok so all my players are below lvl 9 so i havnt played much blitball at all. I need to know a few things if possible 1) How should i change my players and postions to maximize awsomeness? 2) For any suggested different players where to get them and what position to put them in. 3) and for each position what are important stats needed (eg: Gl needs high Cat while LF needs high SHT etc...) Obviously is much easier to get free agents. I dont quite understand how to hire players that are on another team every tme there contract expires that team just rehires them...? When i play i seem to just rush in there so i like players with high endurance but its not that much of an important factor in choosing a good team. I want to try and get Wakkas sigile asap so my team just need to be good enough to get to that point!!! Thanks everyone ------------------- ![]() SG-1

re: Noob Help with Blitzball |

Well I finally won my first Blitzball game, yeah !!!!
(this is on my 2nd playthrough of the game - the first time I played this game and defeated Sin, I never won a single Blitzball match) Thanks for the advice on the stats. When choosing Forwards, I choose the characters with best SHOOT attributes (since you need to best the goalies CATCH value) In mid-field I choose characters with good PASS and ENDURANCE. The PASS is important to throw the Blizball to the forwards in order for them to have a chance at scoring. In defence I choose characters with good BLOCK and ATTACK. Tip: Previously when I had the ball and the opposition would get next to me I would stop and try and pass the ball. I would always have to challenge the opposition in a face-off. However, what I found was that I should continue to swim towards the opposition goal even when opposing players "leach" onto me. This helps my team gain ground, so that even if the opposition gain possession of the ball, they will have more ground to cover. I try not to have any more than two opposing players "leach" me before I pass. Using this technique I managed to win my first blitzball game. ------------------- Game Save Backup tool http://www.gamesavebackup.com
