hey i have beaten the game already and so i went back with my save file and was tieing up some loose ends. one of the things i was doing was the capture sidequest.

i found EVERY creature except for one. it was the Simurgh (i believe that was the name (it is a bird looking thing)). it is in the Djose area and i have found everything else in the area except for that and i have been searching FOREVER for it.

i know that there are certain places that have "back areas" or semi-hidden areas that have creatures in it so i am wondering if i just missed the area that i need to go to get this creature.

can someone help me out?

i think i know what ur talking about so to make sure ill tell u this

When ur at the place where u fight the chocoboo eatter and u go down the high or low road u hit that gate take ur first left past there and run into the next screen u should get the bird looking thing that u fought before in training in besaid

A black bird thing that flys on that road run around and around u should be getting those snake things that stone u with there eyes its around there i got that within a few miniuts

if neither of these are it then i dont know what creature ur talking about personaly i hated doing this stuff for aurons sigil almost went nutz lol cant see why u would want to

well u go to the air ship and fly to Mushroom Rock and thats were i found them

Simurgh are fairly hard to encounter, but you'll have a good chance fighting them around the area where you found the Al Bhed Primer XI.
