I don't have a PS3, but if they make it on PS3 it can only be SO much better. With that guy's attention to detail and all, and his obsessiveness to get it how he wants it. It will be amazing, it really will.
I'll get a PS3 one day, buy it then. But it wouldn't be on PS2 anyway.

Well one day they will be really cheap, and you can enjoy a fully functioning PS3 based game then, rather than the half-game you'd get now.
I'm only getting SotC now, years after its release, so I wouldn't mind if it was on PS3 too much.

I am sorry but they are not gonna make it for PS2 just so YOU can play it. The experience will be so much better on the PS3. I mean think of it, the world could be so much bigger, and the graphics will look drop dead gorgeous. I mean Shadow of the Colossus had some of the best PS2 graphics I have ever seen, so imagine what that guy can do with all the power of the PS3? It will be the definition of EPIC. The experience will just be watered down if it was a PS2 game.

Exactly. Just because one person doesn't want it on PS3 [because they can't afford it] doesn't mean they aren't gonna do it. Its just like with every other exclusive next-gen game - they aren't on previous consoles because some people can't afford an expensive unit.

I wouldnt say PS2 games arent good anymore, I still spend alot of my time playing PS2 games and will continue to do so until I have beaten all the games I have ever wanted to play on the console.

i might be able to get a xbox360 and PS3 for $2 on Ebay i just found a hole bunch real cheap with free shipping. But there ending in about 20-23 hours. But i could get lucky. if no one else bids.

^ Oh yeah, games like Spyro and Gran Turismo are still fantastic.
We're in a great generation at the moment. We have a bunch of fantastic new games, as well as old games that are still playable. In the old days, things advanced so fast that old games weren't worth playing. Nowadays old games still represent new games, though they were made 20 years before.

Seriously, saying that an older generation of gaming, any generation, is no good is just ignorant. The NES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation 1, all the generations were great in their own way and people still play them to this day because of how good they were.

What I was saying is that PS1 games still greatly represent what we have now.
Like, sure GT5 will have amazing physics and graphics and all, but GT1 had hundreds of cars just like it, very good physics, and good enough graphics that you could easily make out the cars.
Anything much previous just wasn't powerful enough for that kind of gaming.

AT ANY RATE, the 3rd Ueda installment (presumably Sotc2) was announced for PS3.
