Technically, the main character's name ISN'T Wander or Wanda. It's actually "The Wanderer" my as a general description and not the actual name. The true name of the character is never known nor told, and the reason for the character being named in the introduction book is because of a poor Japanese translation.

I don't wind calling him Wanda. For lack of a better name. It's nice to have a nickname. Better than "the main character".
