Well, Ico wasn't much more than climbing, puzzle solving and interspersed fights. The point about Ico has never been all the different variations of minigames you get to play. Although if there's something involving riding a horse (which impression I may have gained from early promos) that wouldn't be unwelcome. But I do think that the bulk of the game is fighting and solving puzzles on a colossus's body.

I'm not that impressed with Shadow of the Colossus, it makes it sound like sword and sorcery. I think Nico was a good name, because it had that air of mystery, that Ico had. But nobody bought Ico, so perhaps their marketing people knew what they were doing.

I did not realise that Wanda was a male, I'd assumed he was female! No less interesting for all that, of course. But I have to say I don't find Wanda a particularly attractive name. (I have an auntie of that name for one thing!)

Based on the screenshots I also took Wanda to be a female. When I saw a few videos that bit was cleared though. Also regarding the climbing of the colossi, based on a video I saw, it's not as complicated or as long of a process as I originally thought. As for the name Wanda and the Colossus I think it would be much better than the current one IF in fact Wanda had been a female (I'm thinking of the contrast of a girl and a colossus).

Undoubtedly. In any case, has anyone noticed the similarity between Wanda's facial features and that of Yorda? I think Wanda is almost certainly the descendant of the original Yorda and Ico.

Well, aren't the Colossi (plural word for Collosus?) suppoused to be the largest bosses ever. Also the whole "wandering" theme sounds awesome as well. Atleast it's not "kill group of enemies, Kill next group of enemies, open door, fight boss" you win!.

And Wanda and the Colossus was fine. No name change was really needed IMO.

I'm not sure if I can buy this game. Mercilessly slaughtering the innocent Collossi seems like a cruel and senseless thing to do. Is chica's life really worth destroying all these magnificent creatures? Couldn't Wanda, like, find some other way to save her? These questions weigh heavily upon me.

Nah, Wanda is short for Wanderer. Who is the guy you play as in the game.
