Fruit Trees and White Tailed Lizards |
|
Has anybody found either of these yet? I haven't, but I haven't really looked yet. Supposedly if you get the fruit off a tree your health meter will go up and if you kill a white tailed lizard and then eat the tail (with R1) your strengh will go up. It would be a cool challenge to find all of both.

I don't think all the lizards are white tailed though, I killed quite a few of them and I didn't see any droppped tails.
Yeah, I just checked and you can only find the white tailed ones at save temples. ------------------- I DON'T MEAN TO SEEM LIKE I CARE ABOUT MATERIAL THINGS -- LIKE A I JUST WANT FOUR WALLS AND ADOBE SLABS FOR MY GIRLS

Each time I ate a white tail, my stamina meter glowed around the edge but I didn't notice it getting bigger although after 11 bosses and about 20 lizard tails the right edge of the stamina meter is half way into the weapon select box, so it is noticeably bigger. I think some of the increase comes from defeating bosses.
On lizard tails, I killed most of them. I want back to one I had visited before and there was another white tailed lizard there (I think I killed the first one). On another one I only shot the tail and it fell off. The lizard ran off without his tail. Of course I ate it (the tail). I just came back to this one and it hasn't grown back its tail. Most of the save alters I've gone back to are empty of a white tail lizard. It takes awhile to check for no lizard and then leave empty handed. Shooting the tail off at least lets me know I've been here and can more quickly move on. Anybody know if it is better to kill them or just shoot the tail off? I'd rather leave them alive and just keep taking their tails (wish I'd known that at the beginning). Also, I've found white tailed lizards around fruit trees once in awhile. On the fruit, my health bar is all the way across the screen. That really helped with one of the bosses because just one of his hits took more health than I started with at the beginning of the game. Be sure to climb up the tree. There is usually fruit you can't see from the ground. So, it looks like it pays to wander around and explore the different areas before taking on a series of bosses. I'm kind of mixing it up.

I'm going to have to go with killing the white tailed lizards. The ones where I only took the tail are still around without their tail. I've been back to many alters I've previously been to and sometimes there is another white tailed lizard and I know I killed the first one.
Probably 25% of the white tailed lizards I've found have been in places other than the alters.

I can climb up on the fruit trees (on the moss) but how do i get the fruit from there? I can get some of them by shooting it down with my bow and arrow but one of them i shot and they fell into the ocean.
How many lizards does it take to get to full strength?

I only know to shoot the fruit with an arrow to knock it on the ground. If it goes in the water you wasted an arrow. Oh, wait, unlimited arrows; how cool is that! Climbing up the tree will reveal some that are hidden by lower branches. If the branch is thin you can shoot right through it. Sometimes you have to move out on to a side branch to be able to shoot a fruit blocked by the large branch.

i found sime pine cone looking things on a tree on my way to the 10th colossus. There was also a fruit tree near there. There were like 4 fruits on the one tree and 3 pine cones on the other. I got a good health boost.
Im thinking that anyhting growing on trees increase your health. Im wondering if there is an infinite number of lizards and fruit and if so then can someone keep increasig their health and stamina infinitely? ------------------- my blog

The health bar stops at the left side of the screen. On my first time through I could only get the stamina bar half way through the weapon panel. Eating more lizard tails didn't make it get any bigger. I've seen a video where it was hugh. I guess it is limited on the first play but on second time through the limit is larger.
