Roaming The Land |

Am I the only one that takes time away from fighting to actual enjoy the wonderful scenery offered up in this game? I mean, to me, fighting the Colossi is secondary to exploring and checking out where these giant beasts actually live.
I have found some really beautiful spots too. South of the temple, there is a GORGEOUS forest, with fallen leaves and a well-placed prayer temple, that when you climb up it, gives you an amzing view. Oh, and to the North-west, there is this gigantic lake, with a tower sticking straight up in the middle of it. You can ride over there and then ascend the tower, then jump off it hundreds of feet in the air to the water below. I had so much fun with that. ------------------- Bye!!!!! ![]() I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

I've been to both areas. While looking for the bosses you tend to cover most of the map. I did go on one 20 minutes riding around period to just drool over the graphics, but I find fighting the Colossi much more fun.

I did a bit of wandering around after killing the third colossi. I really like not knowing what I am going to find and seeing an area for the first time. I guess I am looking for unusual paths not part of the game plot. I wish I could get up to some of those cliffs. I tried to climb the temple but haven't made it yet. I went looking for a colossi other than the fourth one thinking I would find one 'sleeping' but I am thinking maybe they are not part of the scenery until it's 'their turn' for battle. Oh, the battles are pretty cool. After three, I hope they get more complex.

Okay, while I was exploring I decided to climb the side of the main temple and I made it up to the top of the bridge that the main character rides into the temple from in the intro. I followed the path and it led upwards into a clearing above the spiral pathway at the back of the temple, directly above the little circular pond. In this clearing was a bunch of trees that had tons of the health increasing fruits, but when I ate one, it actually decreased my health AND stamina. I've beat 15 of the colossi so my health meter was practically the whole bottom of the screen and my stamina was halfway through my weapon window. Now its back to nothing again. Anyway, does anyone know if you come here after you beat the final colossus or is there something special about this area? I was just wondering if I managed to find anything hidden.
