Favorite/Least Favorite Colossus |
|
My favorite had to be number 13, although it was pretty easy to figure out how to get on the thing, but it was still really challenging, and once you did actually get on to it, the gameplay was amazing.
My least favorite was number 16, I was expecting a whole lot more from it, and then it didn't even have legs, pretty lame if you ask me. ------------------- "A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted. Yeah, 13 was amazing, probably my favourite boss battle ever. I usually didn't like the ones when you had to use Agro, but it wasn't as akward as the other times you needed him (because you weren't galloping away from it).
My least favourite were the 2 little ones. They were small and unimpressive compared to the giants and if they knocked you out they would just keep ramming you before you could get up again, pretty cheap tactics. Although I liked how the second small one was like a big puzzle to get it's armour knocked off. ------------------- ![]()

Choosing a favorite is tough. Even though he was really easy to beat, I think the second one is my favorite. I liked the way he looked - like an overgrown wooly mammoth with a giant cage-like mouth - and the eyes just completely penetrated me. I also like the area where I battled him, so all in all I choose that one. (Although you all are right on about #13 - that battle was fun as hell)
I second that my least favorites are the 2 lion-like small creatures, and for the same reasons too. Not that impressive to look at and even if your health bar was all the way across the screen, if you took even one hit, you may as well just put the controller down and watch until you die, since the times that they will actually let you get back up between hits are VERY rare! And to me, that's lame.

The first flying one was my most adrenaline packed fight.....I liked the two legged colossus with the beard......I think over all all the two legged humanoid like colossi were awesome.

My favorites would have to be the third colossus (the one with the giant sword) and the fourth one (your first flying one). I was early on the game and still adapting to the mechanics of the game. The adrenaline and excileration was amazing. Not to mention I had my buddies for the fourth one so it was like, an orgy of excitement. I also liked the fifteenth one. He kicked ass. Hardest one for me to beat, one of the cooler looking ones, and he had an awesome entrance.
My least favorites had to be the sixteenth, the tortise, and the bull. The bull was crap. Easy to beat, not much to look at. The tortise just kept shooting me while I was down, and he would never chase me, so I just got annoyed with him, and the final one was dissappointing, but fun none the less.

I like numbers 7, 4, and the 13th, which was my favorite. The whole hanging on thing while they fly/swim was so cool. My worst was the turtle thing, or maybe the lizard. I liked the ones that were a bit obvious, but a very fun and unique experience.
I wish there was a flying colossi that went as high as the clouds, or something like that. ------------------- ![]()

I think everyone likes the Sand Dragon the most (number 13). I liked the Sand Dragon, the Worm like think from 'Tremors' (number 10), the Vulture (number 7), and the Water Serpent (number 6) I think number 4 was the Horse... And number 3 was a Monkey with a Club... EDIT: I didn't really have any least favorites. The Titan (number 16) was probably the most challenging... I always got shot off the whole entire level... I think the rest were about average than the ones that I posted up there.

My personal favorite was the collossus you fought in the colloseum. He wasn't the most physically intimidating nor the fastest but he was very cinematic to fight. I have a flair for adding drama to my games and I enjoyed ducking in and out of the colloseum, as bolts were shot at me and the camera shook.
And as for the two midget collossus all you have to do is tap buttons as fast as you can and you will get up quickly. I never had the trouble with them like you guys describe and I assume that's why. Alot of moves you need to pull aren't exactly in the instruction book. (I didn't find out about the fruit till I was 2/3 through with the game!)

Dude my favorite was number 14 man. It was the most puzzling. It took me forever to get started with the puzzle too. I liked it because you arent attacking him or anything to get to his seal, but you are using the environment to trick him, which is an awesome concept.
That one or number 15. Tho that one was a bit more annoying because you get hurt trying to solve him. My least favorite was 16 because it was a disappointment. My kindof inbetween one is the first bird. Its awesome if you can take him out in one swoop, but falling into the water and swimming back to another platform takes for freakin ever. But that one is the coolest looking I think ------------------- ![]()

I kinda liked the 16th one... Mostly because of the way he looked. Lightning flashes and he shoots bolts at you as he looms over you like a mighty thunder god passing judgement. He was frustrating as hell to figure out but once you finally figure him out he's easy. And as for not having legs... dude you need to retake biology... he may not have moved but I'm pretty sure there were legs there.
