Favorite save spot or favorite area. |

My favorite save spot is the Western Cape by the broken arch bridge. It has an awesome expansive view. That is my favorite area too climbing up the lair of the mesa in B5 with its enormous hidden waterfall.

Its kinda hard to say. They are all awesome. But I was rather partial to the Round Stone Hill. The openess there is so overwhelming. I remember the first time I went up there I just thought, "Wow, I can explore all this?"
I also like the Lair of the Mesa. It just has that overboading sense of dread and danger. Not to mention the creepiest looking tree in the entire game looms overhead, which by the way, is cool. The cave where you fight the Sand Worm is also cool, but on a personal level with me. It may sound weird, but I had this dream like a year ago about an enormous cave with a pool of water blanketing the floor. I found it inspirational and implemented the scene in my book. Gien this, it was hard to forget it. So when I entered the cave, the vision of that cave just sparked in my head and the first thing that came out of my mouth when I entered was, "Holy s***! I'm here!" It was a little shocking to see it. But anyways, my favorite place, as some have read, is the beach down below the Mesa. Its just passed the broken bridge and yada yada yada. I've written it all before. But anyway, that was the one place that gave me goosebumps for more than 10 minutes. The open ocean, the colossal chasm above, it was just a very powerful place to stand. It'd also make a great picture. Too bad the game didn't let you take pictures or stillshots. That'd make for an interesting collection. My favorite area was either that huge field south of the shrine of worship(the way you went to get to the sixteenth colossus) or the mese lair.

I have a few favorites. I love the area where you fight the 3rd colossus. The first view of the arena was awesone. I also liked the entire area where the 5th colossus was. Despite an annoying battle, the area where the 9th colossus was was also great. The lairs of the 7th and 14th colossus were cool, too. Finally, I liked the cave area on route to the 12th colossus. The cave with the small rivers and waterfalls and all of the plantlife. That landscape was beuatiful.

Did anyone else find the windy ravine in the northwest (on the way to fight #14) creepy? Everytime I venture up there the hair on the back of my neck stands up. Its just so concealed and its very windy, creating a very ominous atmosphere.
