There was word that you had to beat the game 4 times to properly get into the secret garden (as in without climbing the side of the temple). I've beat the game for a fourth time, but I can't find a way to the garden. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

There is moss on the side of the temple that you can climb. If your strengh/stamina is good enough than you can get to the "Secret Garden". I don't know how to climb it, though as I've never tried...

There is an in-depth strategy floating around on how to get up there. You don't need to beat the game 4x to get there, you just need a lot of stamina. The moss is on the left side of the temple (after descending the stairs from the main hall).

*sigh* oooook......u have to do wat is called the diagnal jump, just power up and push diagnaly on the analog stick, it doesnt use any stamina or very little if it does....here is a video of it

you would have enough stanima from beating the game once, you go up to the moss on the side of teh castle, do diagnole jumps, saves energy, untill you reach the top,

and what ever website you got it from, report it, there making people waste there time

its hard to get back down because you dont have as much energy, and if you die you have to start all over again, how did you guys get back down?

Everytime I used the Cloth of Desperation to get down, the game would glitch on me, so I can't use it there anymore.

yeah I got up there like three months ago only to find about four things of interest...
1) exploring the secret garden itself
2) running ALL the way across the long ass bridge to the entrance to the forbidden land only to get there and not be able to go through the entrance, its just a gate with infinite whiteness behind it and when you try and go through you get pushed back by wind.
3) looking over the land that is essentially yours and seeing certain things that you never saw before...
4) getting up there only to jump off and go into free fall for about three to five seconds and watch in glee as your house tries to run towards the area where you go splat.

...btw does anyone know if you can get to the VERY VERY top of the chapel, like its the top of that brownish cubelike structure far above the secret garden that would be AWSOME to get up there and look around...just a thought
