I noticed that shadow of the colossus has some interesting relations to ICO. I thought an interesting relation was the reflecter from ICO laying in the desert. Does anyone else know any other relations?

I know a good few. The Wanderer has similar clothes to Ico's, Mono's wearing the same dress as Yorda did, the black spirits that stand next to the Wanderer in the Shrine look like the demons Ico fought; when you climb to the top of the Shine and go across the bridge you can see the place where Ico is/was.

^That's actually just speculation. It's probably nothing more than a part of the mountain that was shaded oddly. Even if it is a castle, the castle in ICO didn't have all those "spires". The creators said the game took place in the same "world" but different times.

True, but it's not that big a stretch, if you think about it. I mean it was obviously made by the same creator and it took place in the same world. They had to reward you with something after taking an eternity crossing that thing. And to explain the spires the game could have been set in the future. Emon or some other leader probably built them. However, I cannot stress the word "probably" enough.

Before anybody starts saying "Zomg teh SotC is a seqwuil or preqwil to ICO" Fumito Ueda himself stated that SotC is not a Prequel or Sequel, but a "spiritual successor"

Anyone realise "ni" is the Japanese word for "two"? Hence, "Nico" = Ico 2... Kind of a play on words perhaps?

Yeah, SotC was originally intended to be a sequel to ICO. They scrapped the idea though, and this is what came out.

Yeah, Ico himself had horns, it's another little plot thing, originally, an early NICO demo had the main character as Ico himself, they took that out and changed the plot entirely, I guess you could consider that an easter egg.

Yeah, but, being that the Wanderer remains nameless (Wander is a title, not his actual name,) there is that microscopic chance that he actually is Ico.
