No, and if Ueda is half as smart as I think he is, he won't make a sequel to this. Remake maybe, not a sequel. Reason being, this game is sort of a stand alone title, the feel of this game is an original feeling and shouldn't be replicated in a sequel. A prequel would be nice, explaining either how the colossi came about or why Wander and Mono came to be where they ended up. But not a sequel. Most consider, no idea why, ICO as being the sequel.

It's because it was officially announced as such....
Basically, without spoiling it for anyone still playing, the ending explains where the horned boys in Ico came from. Ico takes place some (long) time after SotC. ------------------- | |

That is becuase SotC is the Prequil to ICO.
SotC takes place generations and generations before Ico. This is a spoiler. Highlight the text with your mouse to read it. ------ When Dormin is reborn and then defeated by Emon and his men, for some reason the spell seperates Dormin from Wander. It also purifies Wander. The purest point for humans is when they are born, so the spell turned Wandar back into a baby. Likewase the baby had horns because the spell could not completly remove all of Dormin's power from the child.. It is my belief that Mono raised the child and they had offspring. The offspring somehow left the forbidden land to mingle with the rest of the world. Geenrations go by and for some reason the evil queen decides to lock up all the horned children to gain their power. The power would be the traces of Dormin's energy that are tied to the offspring of Mono and Wander as a honred child. -------- I would really recommend reading the FAQ on the theory of the game. They COULD remake it for the PS3 and get rid of all their glitches, bugs, and add in the sweet graphics [and maybe some more stuff they should have in the 1st game] but I doubt there will be a sequel to the game, as you can't really continue the story since The Dormin are trapped and the Colossi are dead. Just to play devils advocit...
If they remade it on PS3, the glitches and bugs wouldnt be there as they would be completely reworking the code to take advantage of the PS3's engine. Therefor they should be able to eliminate the issues that are in the current version. Likewise since it's nearly infinatly complex, there will always be glitches and bugs in any game as there's no way to find every issue in a limited beta. Every game will have glitches and bugs. Some you dont see in game, some you do, some are terrible, some are fun... I dont think the amount in this game is an issue at all. ------------------- | |

Exactly. Recently, I just found a glitch in Diddy Kong Racing for the N64 which gives you unlimited boost for the entire race, yet it's been out for close to 10 years and few have heard of it.
