I heard that it isnt any more of a sequal than this was to Ico.

I learned a bit more since I made the previous post.

It was officially announced that SotC is the prequal to Ico.

Basically, without spoiling it for anyone still playing, the ending explains where the horned boys in Ico came from.

Ico takes place some (long) time after SotC.

As for making a second game with the same concept (small guy kills giant things, etc...) I dont think it will happen.

From what I have read of the creator, he is more of one of those guys who do things as a challenge to themselves. I.E. They already did this, so they wont do it again.

I heard the next game by Fumito Ueda will be on PS3. I heard rumors that it will be the same story line. But as we know with Ico and SotC, that just means it's probably on the same world somewhere in the time line. But there's no reason to believe the characters will be related in anyway.
