I buyed this game for a way to high price of 65 euro.
I couldn't even play the game trough the first colossi(sp?)
Why ? the camera just keeps spinning and u cant get a clear view .
I hate that circle at the bottom of the screen that shows how long u can keep hanging on something, this makes climbing up a colossi so hard.And well the graphics just arent pretty .

From what store did you buy that game?
It's didn't even cost that much when it was brand new, and now the price would be around 20 Euro by now, But 65? What a rip off.
Anyway, You do know that this game is a Puzzle game right?
You have to find a way to kill that colossus.
You can't just walk up to it, and defeat it like that.
Like for the first Colossus you have to hold on the hairy part of he's leg, and stab it in the lighted area.
Some sort of Blue light with a pentagram on it indicates where you have to stab.
Stab him there good, and you will trigger a reaction from the colossus, that you can use to your advantage.
If you stab him there twice, he will go on he's knee, and you can then easily climb further on to he's back, and from there on climb further to the weak spot on he's head.
Which is also some kind of Blue light with a pentagram on it.
Don't forget to rest now and then on a spot on the colossus that you can stand on without falling off of it, and gain some stamina.
Also your stamina will increase everytime you defeat a colossus, or eat a blue lizard tail that you can find when killing a lizard that has a blue lighted tail.
But on some colossi, you need the help of the environment that the colossus walks/lives in to use for your advantage.
You will find out soon enough, what I mean when you see the area that some of the colossi lives in.

And with the camera, you actually don't need to use the button that controlls the camera that much at all, it will eventually place itself on the good spot, but sometimes you have to adjust it a bit, but for the rest you can keep the camera alone.

That's what it also says in the tips section of your game's manual.
"Before you confront a colossus, study he's movements and the area he walks in first before you attack."
Or something like that.

I don't know if this will anwser your questions, but feel free to ask for help if you have any trouble defeating a colossus.

And the graphics might not be the best graphics, but what do you expect, with that world so big, and the size of the colossi?
Who knows how much Polygones one colossus has?

Also, It's best to play the game until the end of it, before saying that it is bad.
You can't judge it already, without even killing the first colossus.
Because your giving a bad opinion of the game, without even playing it on it's fullest.
Because the only thing you did was ride with Agro to the colossus, and then try to fight it, get killed by it a couple of times, and then judge it as a bad game.
So finish the game first, and then give your opinion.
And who knows? Maybe you have miss-judged it.

Well, myb, he didn't actually have any questions. He was just saying that this game sucked, which is stupid. If you don't like this game, don't declare it in the forum of the game. If nobody liked it, there would be no forum.

Because This game is not meanted for everybody.

I'm gettin' a bit tired of game-bashing threads. If you go to a forum for a video game, odds are there aren't many people who don't like it.

And SoTC is meant to be a little hard. If you expected a game that lets you kill colossi like you kill droids in Revenge of The Sith, you came to the wrong place. These big monsters don't fall easily. It takes far more than an arrow to the head to bring these creatures down. Definitely far more.

I dunno. I liked the game enough to buy it for $49 Canadian. It's an awesome game, worth the money IMO. But then again, 65E? Maybe a little too much. Mayhaps the store overpriced it.

If it was me, I would wait until it's $20-25 dollars. Then I'll buy it.

Okay, I'm going to adress something that I've seen people complain about A LOT in bad reviews of this game. The camera. I, for one, have had hardly any problems with the camera, mostly because you can adjust it with the right analog stick, which makes for great views sometimes. But even without that, when climbing up a Colossus and stuff, I've never seen it go haywire on me.
