What? why would someone complain about this game and only got up to the first boss thats nonsense.The first time i played it i had a hard time getting use to the camara angle after i killed the 1st one i was already used to everything.This game has pretty good graphics i love the fur when it is wet like the eel one the fur looks so real its unbeliveble.Will i think that the person that started this thread to just spend some time getting use to controling the character and the camara view.When you are use to everything you will enjoy the game much better now that you are ready to take on the colossus!!

OK 65E is bad i think it was $60 canadain when I bought it second day out. Interesting. anyways if you are not smart enough to get pass the first then there is somthing called a 'walkthrough' you can get those on this site did u no that? So stop complaining to us that the game sucks and is too hard when you know danm well that u can get help. If your this much of a slacker and a whiner in a game i'm srry for ur future bosses and gf or bfs. Go back to ur mindless killing games them and leave the hard, logical games for us.I love this game I kicked so much butt its not funny.

I agree, I'm not even sure it's POSSIBLE to beat the first colossus! It's almost as if the gamer is forced to use INTELLIGENCE to figure out how to beat it!

ok. so maybe i went overboard. the graphix were unbelievable for a ps2 adventure game. the story was easy to catch on to and get hooked. but i think they went to far with having a 10 foot collosi right when you leave the temple. but this is coming from the guy that couldnt find the staris to go to the desert until 15 minutes of searching payed off lol.

What game are you playing, man? Stairs to the desert? 10-foot colossi right outside the temple? I've never encountered any of that!

Give some detail, because I've never had to use stairs to get to the deserts, and I've never seen a 10-foot colossi (which is unbelievably short for a colossi) right outside of the temple.

Ok... I'm sorry guys, but I have to finally say something. I don't know what kind of english classes you folks are taking but here's a short lesson.

When you are referring to a single noun, you refer to it in singular terms: Colossus.
When you are referring to multiple nouns, you refer to them in plural terms: Colossi.


Not to pick on Pox (many, many people on this forum are making the same mistake), but I just couldn't handle it any more. Believe me, guys I tried to let it go, but it's just too common not to say anything any more. I hope nobody takes this personally, but it bothers me when people are referring to intelligence, but repeatedly mix up plurals and singulars. I do understand the confusion with this particular word, though. Some words are very strange, especially when they're not normally pluralized (Colossus, plague -> see 'Las Plagas' in RE4).

Again this is not a personal attack on anyone, nor is it meant to be arrogant. It just makes writing easier to read when proper terminology is used. Thank you.

This is the internet, where even geniuses who write amazing blogs go "lol" at the end. I'm not sure grammar is really that important in places like this as long as you get your point across. Seriously, it's a forum about a video game, and the post you are referring to was a stab-joke as it is. I also want to say from observation and experience that grammar has VERY LITTLE to do with intellegence (although sometimes poor grammar proves poor intellegence).

the plural of pleura is pleurae.

I apologize for the intelligence thing. You're right, The Ellmist, I was out of line there. I guess I'm quite the nazi when it comes to grammar and spelling (although I know I'm not perfecty either). It just seems like some people like to overuse the word 'colossi.' Probably because it's not a very common word, and is quite fun to "say," even if it just on the internet. It's just irritating is all. I'll let it die now.

Anyway, back to the topic. Wait... this topic is dead. Ok, sorry again for offending anyone! Let's all go out and have us a good ol' colossus hunt!
