Help!

I have progressed to the first level of Indonesia (apparently some sort of bonus stage -PS2) I have just descended down a deep hole and can go no further. I found a helpful guide but the advice given does not help as I am missing a pole!!If anyone knows what I am on about some help would be useful

i got stuck with the same problem so i ended up just jumping at the ledge below (where the dog is) while crouching, you use up the most of your health but at least you can still continue on.

cheers for the help. it works, just have to figure how to kill the dog, but should be a doddle compared to the initial challenge

I have that same problem. Its a pain in the ass and I don't know why it's like that. There isn't even a Shetland in my game. You can snipe the dog from the ledge you grapple down to before you jump down. I just posted a question about that too before I came across your thread. I will try jumping down too.

The problem can be solved as follows :

First shoot the dog !!

The climb out (your hanging on a edge) go to the middle and then let go, underneath you is another edge, you will hang on automaticly. You can do this untill you hit the ground.

It's easy, go down the first wall, look down at the dog, it will be barking, wait for the man to come and go, then shoot the dog, climb out on the pole thing, move over a little, keep the left analog stick pushed forwards, and push O, and he will grab onto the one below him, do that till you come to another ground bit, walk down the wall using the abseiling thing, then climb up the pole and go in and you will see a guard just standing there and if you wait you will see a guard near the smoke come and go, when that guard is gone whistle to lure the standing guard towards you, go back in the cave and whistle again, then when he comes near you, knock him out, don't shoot. Take his body to the edge and walk off but quickly turn back and grab on, then go to the cave with the smoke, and go behind that first guard and goto the right, make sure he's facing away, then he turns around, if your hidden properly he won't see and he'll go, quickly run forwards into the next dark spot and that should be a checkpoint. To get past this bit, wait for the man standing their to go right, then go left and you should find a pole you can climb up, =)
