Just remember that I think it's the blue ones that you can't jump over, you HAVE to wall attack.
The red ones you can jump over and attack. The father is about the same. You can't jump over him. | |

Pretty much.
You'll find that the more you progress in the game the more and more you'll have to do both attacks on the red and blue monsters. Good luck. | |
