Every hazard minous fire is present in the Snagret Hole, so survival would dictate that you bring all colors except Red. Also, there's a Snagret guarding the entrance, incase you didn't meet him yet. My guide book reccomends 25 of each color (Except Reds), and I agree. With no fire and everything else, you can skip out on Reds. Why take Purples? As the name of the cave suggests, the place has quite a few Burrowing Snagrets, and a Pileated Snagret at the end. It's a nasty fellow, so you should be well prepared.

I suspect that you are asking this because you want to work on the snagret hole page on the Pikmin Neowiki. In this case, please use my Cave Template, and try to make it as high-quality as the White Flower Garden page. They are pretty big pages, so if you don't feel up to it, I'll probably do it in a week or two. I'm planning on doing the Bulblax Kingdom this week. If you do decide to do it, please don't modify the template in any way unless talk to me about it first or else I will just undo it.

I honestly doubt that. If you have beaten the game's main story or at least gotten as far as you have, as you implied through your recent posts, why wouldn't you have done one of the game's beginning caves?

And that has anything to do with this how? You uploaded and showed me a video of yourself at the Perplexing Pool. I'm just saying that it's odd that you wouldn't have done the snagret hole when you found it and when you've already moved on to the next area.

Everyone plays differently. He wouldn't be ready to go to the Snagret Hole without going to the Perplexing Pool to get Yellow Pikmin, anyway. He would also do well to go back to the Awakening Woods and get Blue Pikmin, as well. And if my memory serves me correctly, don't you need Blue Pikmin to get to the Snagret Hole in the first place?

re: Snagret Hole Question |

I was searching in the forums and i found this comment/thread i posted in '06 (when i was 11 Years Old x3)
First off you should bring 25 of each pikmin except for red. The Snargret Hole is hard and easy at the same time. You have nothing to worry about except for the snargrets on sublevel 3 and 6. Also I'll give you the technique to defeat the boss and a tip on how to beat the cave. The boss is a snargret with one foot. If you listened to me before have the 25 purple pikmin attack it when it is having trouble poping out of the ground (when its head comes up first and not the whole body). If you are not comfortable using purple pikmin you can use yellow since they go higher.WARNING you must have blue, yellow, white, and purple pikmin during your time in the game. Tip: Have purples destroy most of the monsters and especially the snargrets on sublevels 3 and 6. If you lose a lot of pikmin on one sublevel reset the gamecube and pick your file and start at the EXACT sublevel you were at and with the same amount of pikmin. Hope this helped ------------------- Maybe one day I'll be the moderator for the Pikmin forums ;~; | |
