The day system is supposed to be still there, but they said that you have infinite amount of day. Also apperantly day doesn't matter in caves which is a new feature. Though I can only guess from screen shots that hint about different things (like shortcut commands).

Yo, I'm K7 master of the whole universe and master at beating the crap outta the Pikmin games. Literally, I'm getting really bored of it so I'm pretty phyced up about the second. I also have this free booklet I got from my local toystore! It happens to have some info on Pikmin 2...
