To unlock Hard mode, all you have to do is beat the game. That unlocks the Hard Mode, Sound Test, and Original Metroid.

Game Unlockables
Are you sure you're not turning the game as soon as the ending finishes. The game is supposed to reset by itself, and the image gallery, hard mode, and original Metroid are supposed to be unlocked. I hope your game isn't glitched. I think I remember someone else having a similar problem with the Sound Test. Another thing is, maybe Hard Mode isn't unlocked if you beat the game on Easy Mode. Have you beaten it on Normal Mode? ------------------- | |

OH thats the problem, I've only beaten it on Normal mode
 I think I have to beat it on easy?  PS: it might be glitched - believe it or not I got the first Zero Mission in my city! | |

The orrigional verson was unlocked and I currently have 2 pics in the image gallery. But no hard mode >_>

i think you can only select hard mode when you select start over on a completed file...

To unlock hard mode after you beat the game in normal mode at the pick what game to continue screen click on the beat game and pick new and it should say hard mode
