i have been training for those freekicks and its imposible to succeed in them, what is the trick please help

Hmmm the trick... Urm get ur timing right! lol

well it doesn't matter anymore because i got the timing right and now i don't play it any more

its about getting the placement right... its tricky yes... but once you got the hang of it you'll be popping super goals

everybodyz talking about getting the timing or the placement right, but how exactly r we supposed to do that with the power meter reaching maximum in a second. The ball always flies well over the cross bar. This is the only thing ruining my experience with this otherwise amazing game. Can anyone explain the free kick part, please?

When i started off, i used to hit the crowd each and every time. Practice free kicks, it helps a lot. I had a coupla long sessions, and lo and behold ! i score a decent lot.

Ok, here goes.... the power meter is VERY fast...true, but u can still stop it in time ... u have to develop a feel for it... practice.

Hit D once to start the meter, second time before it hits the end, and a third time in what u guess is the green area... sometimes it doesnt work sensibly, but majority times u get to understand it.

It is almost impossible to score of free kicks if ur very far off, but also very easy too score from the ones just outside the box.

You have to aim the ball at the top corner farthest from the keeper, and give a suitable spin, either way.

It works, u can score a LOT of times. Practice, practice, practice.

Well don't know why others dont like this game, coz I still love it!!
But I still can't figure out how to add a spin when taking the freekick... I can see the ball above the bar, but how do I move the pointer (thats for spin - is it??)
I am playing on Windows XP (just wanted to tell that - so plz tell the keyboard controls - coz I hav no idea bout L2, R2 etc.)
