I downloaded the demo from easports.com and the putting green uses a grid to show you the slope of the green instead of the caddy like 2003. Did EA go back to the grid in 2004 or was that just in the demo? I hate the grid and probably won't buy the game if they use it

Are you referring to the PC version? Anyway, the grid is available in the TW 2004 PS2 version as an option. If you don't like it you can turn it off.

Yeah you can switch it on or off in the option and i know what you mean, i find it a lot better switched off. You can switch it on just for when you are approaching the green so you know which was the ball will role as you hit the green which is very useful
