i have a problem which probably has a simple answer my problem is that when i go to change weapons not much happens.i'll talk you through it (note i have gamecube version) i press the x button to switch weapons i then press x again to go to my desired weapon then i try to select that weapon but i can't could anyone help me by telling me what buttons i should press or whatever

To change weapons, press X until the one you want is highlighted, then the right shoulder button to bring it out, or press the left shoulder button to get rid of the change weapon menu.
