hey i am wasted. mafia was cool on PC, but like it says in my sig, my PC's crap. this game should be good on PS2. it is like a more detailed GTA3 with less features.

this says discussion, so... man, this game looks so damn awesome. my PC was way too slow for it so i couldnt get it on PC. those graphics, gameplay, and features look incredible. i cant wait to get it. is there an estimated release date.

I think its release date is around January 2004, but I'm not sure. Maybe it will come out around december.

It was already out on PC over a year ago so it might be $40 (US) when it comes out on PS2, xbox, and GCN.

From what I've heard, this games totally kicks all ass. It even matches up and ties with GTA3 or is better as Bizzybone says. This game will have that sweet 20-30s style!

Hey, I just got this game on PC and all I can say is that it kicks ass. The detail and graphics are great. The city and cars and levels are awesome too. The cars are really cool. The game is hard though.

!SPOILER! I know the levels are more complex and involve more stuff than the levels in VC and GTA3. They have to be, there's only 20. That's not what makes them hard, usually. When I say they are harder, I mean it, they are. Some are way harder than others but there is a fair amount of hard ones. I'm only on the 11th level. The hard levels have been the racing one and the one where you have to go beat up that gang that was desturbing the Don's Turf. The racing one hard because because one screw up meant you had to start over. The other one was hard because that idiot, whatever his name is, kept running into a fight with 5 people and getting shot. Also, the level starts out so that he is bound to lose at least 20 health. Other hard things in the game are health and the fact that you(Tommy) have an equal health compared to all the gangsters. The level I'm on right now is hard too. Stealth is a good add on but is hard for this game. This message was edited by iamwasted on Aug 08 2003. -------------------

Yeah, those are fun. I like the whole city lay out in Mafia. Chicago in the 1930s seemed awesome. It would have been fun to smuggle alcohol with the mob.

I did both of those missions already. There was one with picking up a shipment in the countryside. The other was picking up the stolen whiskey supposedly from Kentucky. They were fun. I'm on mission 15 or 16 right now.
