They need to have levels that are more for snipers... I was really desappointed that snipers really sucked in UT2003. They need to work on those. But even if they are the same I'll be happy with the vehicles

i hope they make the shock rifle into a sniper rifle. its more accurate than the lightning gun. just put ascope on it and put it in da game.

i hate snipers. they camp around too much . i find it funny when a player if snipering, i spot them and just shoot them (for example. at Citadel in UT2003, some use the translocater to get on the spiked balls, and i just watch them for ages then shoot them )

Only noobs camp with sniper rifles. its more efficent to run around and find new spots. that way the same guy doesnt keep doing the same strategy to beat you camping like you did.

in ut2004 the new sniper rifle wont leave that VERY noticable lightning trail so it'll be much easier to snipe and as for sniping maps go i figure with vehicles they will need more room and more room= better sniping in ut2003 i still snipe though i just love Headshots!! =)

I don't think it matters about a trail, as it never hindered me in UT2003, as my method of sniping is to shot once or twice, then move somewhere else. That way, you aren't camping, and won't be found.

yer kidding, in most games i play if you see the lightning trail you target that person as snipers got a bad rep in 2003 =(

Bets way to get them is to follow the target about, wait until he is looking in the opposite way, then head shot him. That way, he won't know 100% where it came from.

yea alot of n00b snipers will often for get to turn around

also off note does anyone have any info on how the smoke works with the new sniper rifle? will it be like halo or is just smoke coming from where it was shot like a black powder gun?

anyway to answer your qustion, i doubt it will have a smoke trail, seeing as it is a proper gun

yeah but in this time i doubt that they would be using blackpowder guns making a large smoke cloud
