Kasumi is trying to avenge her bro and they wanna kill her? . I know she was supposed to be the mugen tenshin leader chick, but y is everyone so mad at her??? lol y does ayane hate her so much aha.

The main reason goes something like this: When Kasumi ran off to look for Hayate (her brother), she essentially abandoned her clan and thus was regarded as a traitor. Later, Ayane left as an assassin (which she was trained as) to pursue Kasumi for being a traitor. It's also said that Ayane always had a deep hatred towards her half-sister, but in an ironic twist, Ayane secretly admires Hayate. In the 2U cutscene, which offers some clues, Ayane's last pre-fight words to Kasumi are "You were always everyone's little princess..." It also helps if you watch the opening movie when you first turn on the game as it offers glimpses into their childhood.

I believe that she was sent to kill Kasumi... Because Kasumi is a run-away ninja... at least, thats what I thought.

Why is everyone mad at Kasumi? Because It makes an interesting story? I don't know. I guess Runaways don't sit too well. Ayane hates Kasumi... well, because... I think... Gah, to be honest, I don't know. It just seems to be the thing to do... again, probably because runaway ninjas ain't so popular...
