at first i thought there were tears in the game, but i realized that some chars are better fighting specific chars. life if you were to pin kasumi against bass, kasumi would have the advantage, but if you were to pin gen fu against kasumi, gen fu would have the advantage. thas my system

yes, back on the topic, anyway, i dont really beilive in tears, but i do say that the stripped down some chars ALOT.. lets say tina.. (yes.. i was a tina player) ::gasp:: they took away her air grab, wich is a big part of my strategy when i played with her... so now... im screwed.. i so wish they dint take away moves

That move should not have been taken out. Tina needed that move to finish a lot of her good juggles. Oh well, I never used Tina, so I'm not complaining

What Air Grapple move are you talking about ...

By the way ... most of the characters in this game are pretty "overpowered" ...

Tengu (Throws, Hurricane Blast, Jump-back kick and body bash) - Make some sneaky moves to beat him ... although Tengu isn't this cheap thou ... hmm ...
Kasumi (teleport counter)
Hayabusa (Counters and Throws)
Jan-Lee (Unblockable flying high kick)
Ayane (Grapple that slide under behind enemy)
Gen-Fu (Pushing move)
Leon and Bayman (Down grappling)
Helena and Lei-Fang (Unpredictable sometimes, just scary)
Powerhouses like Ein or Bass (Knocking and Pushing moves)

block alot, watch out for his throws, and counter his jump back body slam

Kasumi (teleport counter)

"turtle" it, the will like to attack high not thinking stunning them first

Hayabusa (Counters and Throws)

use throws on him, let him attack then counter it, avoid mid attacks

Jan-Lee (Unblockable flying high kick)

duck...

Ayane (Grapple that slide under behind enemy)

dont let her throw you or get behind you, and like hayabusa, aviod using a mid kick

Gen-Fu (Pushing move)

a very tough char to beat.. try using throws or juggles

Leon and Bayman (Down grappling)

dont get knocked down.....

Helena and Lei-Fang (Unpredictable sometimes, just scary)

unpredictible???? more like the juggle you and leave you un able to block for a very long time, if you block their "stun" or "juggle" moves (dont counter) they are done

Powerhouses like Ein or Bass (Knocking and Pushing moves)

block alot, and these moves tend to leave a character vunerble after the execute the move..

any others??? you think of a move, and ill think of a counter .. now if i only can think of this when playing the game.....

I don't believe there are teirs myself, just because I've seen, beaten, and lost to every character online. Ive seen Bass (Who's supposed to suck) kick serious hinney (Semi, wow, that guy's bass is amazing), and I've seen crappy Ayane's, who apparently, is invincible. It's all in the hands of the user imo.
