Jim told be they are going to add blood and gore (like mortal combat, except without the enviromental things, like the grinding machine... i think..) did anyone else hear of this? because if they put blood in the next dead or alive, for one, im not buying it. for two, i will be serously pissed at team ninja for ruining a fine game.

didnt we have a thread like this before, I dont remember you were against it. wont this add more realism to the game and take the game to another level? I mean can you get beat up with no blood or damage to the face...?

As long as it not too extream then it fine IMO.

Team Ninja will go down another level if they do that.

i really doubt that, remember that team ninja are of beauty not of realism, itagaki said it himself.

I don't like the idea too much, although if it's something like the old Street Fighter games had (keeping it to a relative minimum) or Guilty Gear Isuka (has a bit but nowhere near MK levels) then fine. But given DOA's style of fighting I don't really see how they can do it and maintain that certain amount of realism in the fighting.

same here, if they added blood, then i personally think not many people would by it.

also, it wouldn't be as fun seeing blood gush everywhere

and especially on your fave chars.

yea, valid arguments. However, it's a Mature rating, and though I feel it was unjustified, Tecmo may want to give ESRB a reason to give it a Mature rating.

If your going to overkill gore, forget it. Some cuts and scraps and brusies is okay imo

I would agree that little amounts of blood, or some scapes would be fine, but going all out MK-style would be too much.

i like the games i play to be more fun than realistic (gameplay wise). im glad people agree . anyway, after seeing that everyone here dislikes that idea, i doubt that team ninja will go against the fans. my guess is, its just a rumor.

I don't know, Tecmo is a bit confused.

The biggest reason I doubt that it will happen is because of Itagaki's love for the characters. I doubt he'd want to see them that way.

good, i dont want to say blood pouring out of my character. i dont think its neccesary, and it certainly doesnt make the fighting experience any better.
