OK I have a question that's been killing me.

Yesterday I was playing DOAU against my little bro in vs mode. The scores got to 10 - 0 my way, then he beat me. Then flashing across the screen was, "You earned a bronze star!" or something like that. So I figured I got the star for having a 10 win streak, I checked my stats and much to my dismay I had no stars, (I had and still have no idea what the stars mean) I have 0 stars for every character there. I checked my brothers stats and low and behold, there it was, a stupid bronze star sitting there next to Bayman.
WTF did he do to earn that star, what to the stars mean and how the fudge do you get them???

haha, remember ups on doa2? well, you earn stars for p2p. i used to play with 1 of my friends alot so i had alot of silver and bronze stars, i havent figured out what gold is, maybe its like 100win streak.
bronse = 10
silver = 50
gold = 100 (?)

P.S. this is a guess, i think that that could be it with the stars =D

and with the doa movie... why the hell wasn't kasumi originally in it? thats really random.. it would make far more sense to make a film out of her storyline, so that it intergrates ayane, hayabusa, hayate in to it.. a lot more logical.. ah i know i'm still gonna see it anyway, and i know someone who will see it cause its doa and holly valance together at last XD

Yeah but it was me that had the 10 win streak, and my brother got the star after beating me on his eleventh try Confused

idk how these medals work, but i have a little question, why did you quote your post?

I know online you get medals for stoping some giant winning streak, (I think anyway). Thats about all I know

because im lazy =D

the medals you earn online do nothing for you but give you a sense of personal pride for whooping whatever guy/girl/it's winning streak and rubbing in their face.

the medals you earn offline however are stored and once all are unlocked then you unlock everything for the main game.
