I don't know if this thread has already been posted somewhere....

But if it had, please bother answering this question for me, again. I didn't bother browsing this site for that.

Seriously, Romance in DoA... would this be "feasible" given the game's somewhat (don't be offended) linear feel for the story (bad guys come up with a scheme, good guys kick their ass, bad guys show up again...) and the "lack" of seriousness of several characters (admit it, some of you guys liked Kasumi because of her...ahem...you know...not for her devotion to her family...)?

I mean, would it be great for the DoA storyline to have an official romantic relationship between some of the characters? You know, even if a little mushy, just to add a little flavor to the game?

well, it sure would add a little something to it. but like spirit said, doa was never about the story. leave that up to the likes of mortal kombat.

Well in any case; who do you think would be a good pair?

Ayane and Hayate. Its obvious they fancy each other and they could have a forbiden love. DOA would be alot better if it had somr pg13 liplock scenes in it.

Kasumi and Ayane. Hot hot hot love/hate action.

Kasumi and Hayate. Kasumi and Ryu. Kasumi and Lei Fang. Kasumi and Me. I mean Hitomi.

Lei Fang and Jan Lee, duh. Lei Fang and Hitomi fer sure.

Tina and Zack or Lisa or maybe Bayman.

I dunno, but DoA needs more story. The most story I've seen is the opening video for DoA 2: Ultimate.

Er well.....I dunno! erm maybe Kasumi and Hayabusa. Hitomi and Ein Duh! Lei-fang and Jann-lee big duh! Maybe Ayane and Hayate. Tina and Zack would go quite well. NO LEI-FANG AND HITOMI!!!!!!!!! I don't like the idea of that in my opinion. Helena and Leon very low percentage. I don't know if u guys agree or not, but I think Bayman and Christie coz there both assassins and there both cold hearted. Well it's a little confusing coz I'm not the romance type. yeah i think that would be nice for instance I like to see Kasumi and Hayabusa together..... and besides they do have a romance if any of you guys have dead or alive xtreme volleyball for xbox.... watch the opening video- Leifung and Hitomi

we know there is something between ayane-hayate and lei-fang jan lee..however i haven't seen one scene that would make rhy and kasumi look like something more than partners.

Thing is though, Hayate is Ayane's half-brother so their relationship would be incestuous. I just think Ayane feels close to Hayate, not that she's in love with him. I think that the story is a bit silly, but that they could develop it and come out with a Dead or Alive RPG. Add in some romance between certain Characters. Hitomi meets up with Hayate/Ein in DOA3 and obviously misses him (As Ein he trained at her father's dojo, apparently) so a romance between them is feasable. It all depends on whether the folks at Tecmo want to develop it into more than just a pretty beat-em-up/T&A volleyball series of games.
