Field goal/punt block |

Has anone really ever done this?
I remember in some other I games, i could do it if I turned off the offsides penalty and rushed hard from the outside. But it never really happens in NCAA. Can you do it? ------------------- Odin gave up his right eye for wisdom. I'm afraid my heart has been the forfeit instead... ![]() GBook | |

the only field goals and EP i have blocked came from up the middle. and punts you gotta get speed on the outside and hope for a high snap.

Punts are kinda easy if you use a fast corner, but for me field goal blocks are hard, I can never get through.

sorry, but this has nothing to do with blocking fg's or punts. Colonel Option, where did you get that picture of the chick in the sunglasses?

quote dave caponigri I had to edit the picture, crop it and shrink it, (which I did with some amazingly cheap-ass software, it's called Greenstreet something or other. I think It may even be a demo disc, but it works well.) and then I had to upload it to use it. I don't think it's on the web in this form anywhere else. Originally, it was actually (big suprise or not) a "Lara Croft" type photo shoot. I'm not sure if the real picture was "risque" or not, I found it years ago. - - - - - - - - - - - - I don't believe it how is you put a good punter at the K position, the P can suck so bad. I remember I did it a while ago, and it worked fine. But now that I'm in Heisman, it seems that unless the K is a K, and not a P, he sucks. Even with better stats, the P won't do well for me. Time to get a scholarship kicker, I guess. This message was edited by Colonel Option on Feb 26 2004. ------------------- Odin gave up his right eye for wisdom. It's very easy to block punts. I often get to the punter before the ball is kicked and end up tackling the punter. I was never called with a single penalty either. Never have I blocked a fieldgoal/Extra point and I don't expect to either.

For me it's easy as heck to block punts. I just do a return right get my cornerback on the side that they havetheir guy in the backfield on and run and when he's about to kick it dive, and I've even tackled the punter before he even kicked. But field goals that's a nother story

I block a punt every game. Just take the wide reciever from the far left or right side, and rush the freak out of the kicked. But, Do not hit him! Dive in front of him, and if you timed it correctly you blocked a punt.
